In light of COVID-19, what steps is Coastal Waters Inn taking to help protect guests?

While Coastal Waters Inn is implementing new health and safety protocols, we cannot guarantee that you won’t be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk at any hotel where team members and guests are present.

What measures is our hotel taking to enhance cleanliness standards?

Throughout your stay, you will observe more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas such as the lobby, pool deck area, gates and doors, as well as enhanced social distancing measures in public spaces. When social distancing is not possible face masks are required. Professional deep cleaning of our guest rooms and the steam cleaning of furniture with soft surfaces has been completed.

What EPA-approved disinfectants are being used to clean guest rooms?

Clean Republic is hospital grade disinfectant, EPA Reg. No. 92108-1-88098) is included on the list of products approved by the US EPA on the List-N, for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, Norovirus, Rhinovirus, and HIV, superbugs like MRSA and C.Diff., and other drug-resistant bacteria.

Are there any travel restrictions I should be aware of during this time?

Is there a minimum guest stay?

There is a 48hr minimum guest stay.

Will your hotel be implementing new safety protocols?

Yes, due to the current situation with COVID-19, our hotel is implementing new processes.  During your stay housekeeping will not enter to clean or service your room.  Due to these protocols, kitchen items have been reduced, self-service trash receptacles can be found on each floor to accommodate your needs.  Additional towels, kitchen items and other room amenities can be provided upon request at the front desk.
We kindly ask all guests to refrain from traveling if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, and to advise hotel management immediately if they begin to experience any symptoms while on property.

Can I cancel or change my reservation without penalty?

Guaranteed reservation will be charged one night’s stay and/or will forfeit deposit if cancellation is not received within 48 hours prior to arrival date.  Any changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type of this reservation is subject to the hotel's availability at the time the change is requested and may result in a possible rate change.

What if I made my reservation through a travel agent or online booking service?

The travel agent or online booking service is responsible for any cancellations or changes to your reservation as part of your contract with them.

What is your Lobby Policy?

Check in time begins at 3pm/Check out at 11am located at the front desk of the lobby, hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.  After hours check in is available, please contact the front desk at 386-428-3800 prior to your arrival.
